BIOGRAPHY
Hailing from Greece, Paschalis Papamichail a.k.a Pammi Pasqual, started his career as a DJ & radio producer back in 2005. As a teenager he was presenting at local radio stations while he had been producing music and performing under the name of BACK2BACKTM, a DJ Duo comprising of Pasqual and his friend Martin Levon. Their music video for their track ''Somewhere'' reached over 100K views on Youtube while their track ''Paradise'' had been featured on Youtube mixes and playlists with over 5 million views. Also, their music had been featured at Matt Darrey's DJ mixes back in 2012 (Track ID: BACK2BACKTM - Mirror).
Pasqual moved to the U.K in 2013 to study a BA in Music and Audio Production at the University of Middlesex and SAE Institute of London. During his studies, he further developed his music production and songwriting skills which helped him release his first tracks as a solo artist. His most recent release is called ''Riders On The Storm'' and is a collaboration with Luke Trundell on the vocals which is available now at all major music platforms.
A highlight in 2019, when he had been invited by one of the U.K's biggest electronic dance music platforms ''Data Transmission'', to perform at the Brighton Music Conference 2019. In the meantime, Pammi had been hosting his monthly Playdance Radio Show for Data Transmission Radio, a show that had been on the same line-up with Roger Sanchez, Yousef, Claude Vonstroke, Defected & Traxsource. Since then, Pasqual supported on stage well-known DJs and Producers such as Sigala, Jax Jones, Nathan Dawe, Danny Howard, Andy C, Chase & Status, Rudimental, 220 Kid and more. Also, he had been a supporting act at festivals for artists and bands such as Mabel, Ella Henderson, Ella Eyre, Karen Harding, Don Broco, Two Door Cinema Club and more.
Furthermore, Pasqual is the founder of Playdance Records a label he launched in 2017 specialising in Deep House and Dance music. Currently, he is resident DJ at the Royal Holloway Students’ Union and at the ALL BAR ONE, performing weekly at various venues around the City of London.
